Leather is an incredibly diverse medium to work with.  Its unique inherent properties lend themselves to a variety of applications, with each hide or skin offering different qualities and possibilities of creation

 

For example, vegetable tanned leather has a natural quality, obtained primarily from the Aniline finish responding well to traditional skills – moulding – tooling – hand stitching – bevelling - embossing metallic or blind

 

The beauty intensifies with age and loving use.  The colour and feel gradually changes over time to form a patina, creating a visual and textural personal history of use

Correct leather and material selection for the chosen design and construction is key to creating good form, maximising aesthetic appeal, and combining all elements to produce a perfect end product that works well on all levels

 

We specialise in working with all leathers including, nappa, calf, hide, suede, nubuck, vellum, exotics – crocodile, alligator, snake, lizard, ostrich and stingray

 

We make in a wide variety of materials, such as satin, silk velvet, cotton, waxed cotton, weave, canvas and nylon
